Right hand exterior mirror remote quit working.

Drove the 06 the other day and tried to adjust the right hand mirror with the controls. Left hand works but the right hand won't move left and right but will work up and down. Any ideas??? The mirror will adjust manually so it's not froze up.

Probably broken wires where they bend back and forth in the door jamb as the door opens.

I have replaced my right hand mirror once already and now it is broke again. I think it is just the sub-par motor they put in the mirror. I guess someday I will have to cough up the $$ and get another.

I wonder what a new motor/mirror might cost?
Can't believe they don't last any longer than that. 9200 miles on an 06. Doesn't get driven at all.

I wonder if you could transfer the motor and mechanism over from a set of powered non-towing mirrors?
They are more affordable ( I have a set in the garage).

I looked around on ebay last night and saw several aftermarkets for about $100 including shipping. Are these any good? My factory mirror is solid - no vibration.
As far as I know you can't just purchase the mirror motor.
