How exactly is rim backspacing measured?Is it measured by using a straight edge across the inside edge of the rim to the surface that touches the outside of the brake assembly?What is the mecessary backspacing for our trucks?I'm not thinking for my 3500,I'm thinking for a 2500.

The factory 16 X 8" alloy wheel's back spacing is 6 5/8" (more or less)
