okay i got the skinny on the first gen w-250 they are 8 6. 5 lug pattern now the 2nd Gens what is the blot pattern for those you guys know at all

2nd gens same 8 on 6. 5, but later wheels have more backspacing.

Did the 2nd gens change to the bigger studs too?

I have a set of the factory aluminium rims off of a 02. I really like the look of these rims and I would like to get a first gen and put these rims on it. I don't think that is doable. I have seem a first gen truck with the factory steel/chrome clad rims off of a 97 and it looked really nice. Just my . 02. If anybody knows of a way to get aluminium rim on a first gen, let me know!! Thanks

Assuming you are talking 3/4 ton, yes the 2nd gens have a bigger stud. 9/16 vs 1/2 on the 1st gen. One tons went from 5/8 to 9/16.

I have no experience with a 4x4, but on a 2x4 these wheels will interefere with the balljoint on the front control arms. They should fit if you use spacers, but I'm not sure how much you would need. The rears fit fine.
