Pastor Bob will be missed. I never did get the chance to meet him in person, but he helped me when I had probelms, along with anyone else who asked a question for the 20th time that month. The TDR has lost a great friend.

Sorry to hear this news. I only talked with him once on the phone when he was working at PDR for a time. I enjoyed his humor and knowledge.

Today is a sad, sad day for me. I had not been on line for 4 days and when I turned on the computer today to check my Emails, I saw two from Pastor. Only problem was when I opened them, they were from his wife on Sunday morning telling me the bad news.

Bob and I developed a great friendship over the past 6 or 7 years and shared many things, Diesels were only one of them. My heart is heavy at this moment knowing I won't get to talk with him again, at least not in this life. He opened his home to me and he and his family treated me to a birthday dinner at their home on one of my trips up to PDR.

Beth, his wife asked that we please let everyone know about him and when I came over here to post it, was glad to see it had already been done. I have told her in an Email that many folks are passing on their condolances to her and the family and that Bob will be missed.

Bob, my friend, rest in peace and may God be with you. Maybe some of these dark clouds I have seen in the past few days are you letting us know that diesels are cool there as well!

Nice post Stan, let's people know the more personal side! I too met Bob while up at PDR in 03' and he leaves you with the saying "He's all good" not many people will give you there home number incase you have issues working on something.

We all look at a loss like this as just that, but there are so many people in the World that just go by day to day and never really do anything but inhale and exhale. People like Bob got a chance to meet allot of folks and help many others while asking nothing in return, this World definately needs more folks like Him.

God Bless You, Jim

I never met PB in person, but he was such a patient and helpful source for me and so many others here at TDR. I will sorely miss his sense of humor!:-laf Thanks, Bob.
