Hello fellow TDR members,

I just recieved a private message from a friend of member PGunther of the TDR,and first gen section telling me that Pete passed away last tuesday in a motor vehicle accident. I never met Pete, but did converse with him about buying a truck through the TDR,and in email. He leaves behind 2 children(one 4 month old I believe),and a wife. The message I recieved indicated that Petes friend was going to put a post out to the TDR,but I figured I would as well. Like I said I never met the man,but in email he seemed like a good person, and answered my numerous questions without bother. I don't know what I can do,or what we as a club can do to help, but I think we should try. It seems we are losing too many first gen members lately.

Here is a link to a online article about the accident that Pete's friend sent me.

Is this the same Peter Gunther that lives in Cullom, IL? If so, he was a good guy, I came out there to look at some parts one time, he had quite the shop out there, and more vehicles than most junkyards. My condolences to his family, he was a young guy.

Edit-It definitely looks like it was the same Peter Gunther, I just googled it, looks like the accident happened near his house. I don't think I've ever met anyone so hardcore Mopar/Jeep. I was just going to call him about something too. A huge loss to his friends/family, and our community.
