Rip Rook 4" exhaust

I recently purchased a 4" exhaust from Rip Rook. It uses aluminized steel is mandrell bent and has an Allied H/D truck performance muffler. Plus the price was reasonable. I havent installed it yet but I have heard it on other trucks and it sounds great. He is in the Portland,Or area. NW Bombers it would be worth checking out. Makes it nice to have a local installer as well. Oo. Oo.

Many of us NW BOMBers heard the new 4" exhaust system offered (and installed in this case) by Rip Rook at our latest event (Pendleton, OR). Man, that sounded throatier than any other I've heard... sweeeet!



I also know this, Rip is a VERY good, upstanding kind of guy and will back what he sells!



PS: you should see the HEAVY-DUTY flange used to bolt the downpipe to the turbo!

Rip Hook 4" exhaust

I just took a look at the exhaust and it looks ok,but Is it just me or,or they some hanger clamps missing. I just got thru helping a friend of mine put his on and i can tell you that it had 3 more clamps. Some one tell me if I am wrong.

Rip told me he uses Allied mufflers, says the sound is very pleasing to all his customers, they all LOVED it.

Hats off to Rip, for taking good care of us in the TDR. Oo.

Thought I recalled that there were three muffler choices Rip was offering... . that's why I asked which one was getting the raves.

Love my Allied muffler

Rip welded up a Allied with his system into my truck and it sounds nice. Good bass to the exhaust.

You can hear the turbo at idle and when the fast idle is on it really wings up the turbo.

The inside of the muffler is about 4in diameter.

I think that Stan's used the Allied, but changed to Donaldson some time ago. Mike Brolin is close to me, so guess I'll check it out. I like the sound from my JRE/Walker, but I'm always looking for a cool sound.

From all the different exhausts I've listened to over the last two years, the Allied has the deepest tone, then the Walker, BD and Banks tie for a 3rd, then Jardine (this is the quietest kit of the bunch).
