Hey guys, I'm trying to make up my mind on which exhaust to get. Right now I have my stock exhaust w/ a straight pipe I like the sound of it and theres no drone. I just want to help the EGT alittle bit. What you recommend aluminized MBRP or Rips, and muffler or not? Also how is the fit and finish on both?

Thanks,

MD

I would go with Rips without the muffler. I got the 4 to dual 3's and the fit was perfect. I did some tweaking of the last 2 feet of pipe to get it where I wanted, but that was it. I had my system in less than a week after ordering.

Md- I Had The Same Setup As You On The Same Pickup. I Thought It Sounded Pretty Good. I Just Installed The Mbrp 4" Aluminized Turbo Back (s6100al), Straightpiped System Saturday. It Sounds Excellent!!!!! The Muffler Delete Pipe (mda36) Was $34. 87 Extra, But Worth It. The Stock Downpipe Is So Sorry Looking- I Can't Believe Dodge Or Cummins Let That Design Hit The Production Line. It Took My Brother And I About 40 Minutes To Remove And Install. I Would Definitely Buy It Again. Also, Do Yourself A Favor And Buy The Stainless Band Clamps, It Finishes It Off Nicely. Good Luck.

i like mbrp i have the cool duels in a common rail motor but due to different fuel system i dont know on how the drone would sound for yours it might put you to sleep on long trips

i have the mbrp cool duals without muffler. it sounds awesome. great fit. and with band clamps it is easy to install and remove.

I considered both the MBRP and Rip's system. Even though I had heard a lot of praise for RIP's exhaust I chose the MBRP because the hangers are welded to the pipe, not the clamps. I got free shipping from the site listed below:

Any suggestions on where to get a MBRP from? Anywhere with free shipping?

We offer excellent pricing on MBRP products and normally we can ship out the same day!

Thanks,
