Club in North Idaho?

Ohio Diesel Dyno Day.

Well fellas,

We have a new Head guy. Barry G is going to take over for me. I think he'll do a great job. I will help him in any way that I can,and I hope some of you can help too. I realize some of you were interested in taking the club, but Barry really stepped up to the plate, and took action. I would really like to see the enthusiasm that the club had in the beginning come back. So let's give Barry the support and help that he needs to make this into a success.

Thank you all

Alex

Thanks for the intro Alex and thanks for being kind, dog is one of the nicer things I have been refered too.

I think one of the first things that we should do is try getting a laundry list together of what the members would like to see/get out of this club.

I need all the help I can get here. I can't do anything without you and your input. I want to make sure and take this club to where the members want it to be so please post any and all suggestions and lets make this the premier chapter in the nation.

I would appreciate input on things like:

more/less formal

more/less meeting frequency

ideas on where we can meet

topics for meetings

dyno day frequency

meet and greets

anything else you can think of

This is about you the members so speak your mind and lets hear from you. If you feel a meeting for all to discuss this is in order just say the word and we can put one together.

Please feel free to email or pm me anytime.

Thanks,

Barry

Thanks Alex,Welcome Barry.

I want to thank Alex for getting this thing going. I know it has taken a lot of his time. I for one have enjoyed all the meetings/gettogethers.

I want to welcome Barry, and offer any help that I am able to do.

Barry,you asked.

I like it informal, you know a club for non-joiners(HA). But if it became more structured I would like that too,but informal better for me. .

Fuzz

I kinda

agre with Fuzz

I would like to have more meetings (keeping it informal)

I would like to get to no more of the guys in this area(people with like interests are nice to find)

I cant think of much that I would have to contribute but I am willing to help

I can imagin that it would get bothersom for (or to) local venders to take time out of the work week to have PR time so maybe some thoughts as on how to keep venders from feeling taken advantage of (not saying that they are just dont want them to become)

Just a few of my thoughts ?

Feel free to e mail or pm me for any thing I might be able to help with!

Jason

Welcome aboard, Barry- I am a relatively new member to TDR but hope to be more active as time allows. Would like to be kept abreast as to when/ where meetings are held (however formal they may be. ) Not sure as to how many I will be able to make as to the distance. When/ where were they held in the past? I realize they are probably in/ near Denver as to proximity of most members? Maybe we could organize day trip 4 wheeling outings for the summer? Not afraid to scratch the paint for an awesome view. (I know a few!) Always up for camping too. I learned a lot from the last chapter visit to Central Motive Power and am looking forward to the next tech gathering. Both thumbs up for all of TDR! -frank:D

RMTDR Get Together

OOPS hit wrong button let me try again

Lets start out the new year with a get together on Saturday January 18th. It is after the holidays and hopefully things will be a little slower for some of us by then and it is far enough out to plan for it. I will get back with the specific location and time. We can talk trucks and about the chapter. If you have a good idea on a location let me know and let me know who is going to come.

Barry

Congrads on the taking the position Barry and thanks to BigA and Alex for all the work they have done and or continue to do. I have never had the opportunity to attend one of the get togethers before because of my schedule, but now that I'm not going to school full time anymore I think I'll be able to get more involved. Let me know about any future meeting and if I can be of any assistance :)

Barry,

Thanks for taking over the helm of the RMTDR. Looking forward to any meeting. The ones at CMP and other informal mtg. s were fun to attend. The folks at CMP put on a good show. Hopefully you can get this club off the ground and going. I am willing to help as I can, just let me know. I do have a friend who owns a Big O tire store that is willing to let us meet there sometime in the future for a bomb session or ??? Would be interested in a camping outing next year and also the Rocky Mtn. Truck fest. There is a good opportunity at that gathering to get the word out about the RMTDR. Keep me informed.
