RMTDR at Central Motive Power

So you guy's can plan. Mark your calendars for the next event. Central Motive Power, a diesel injection shop here in the Denver area, will be hosting a meet. They will provide educational stuff, injection pump rebuild shop tour, injector rebuild shop tour, diagnostics software demo, LUNCH, give aways and other things. They have done a nice job in the past. Details following:

Saturday March 19th 9:00 a. m. till around 3:00 p. m.

They are located off I-25, at the 58th Avenue exit, West to Broadway and then North on Broadway. They will need a fairly close head count for ordering lunch, so send me a PM, or e-mail at -- email address removed -- or call me at 303-423-8417 if you plan on attending. I will need to know by March 14th if it is possible so I can let them know.



I have also decided I am going to May Madness this year and throw out the invtation to anyone else who wants to go. I'll be towing my camper there and staying in it. Let me know if you are going and we'll get hooked up out there or somewhere along the way.

May Madness in the 4th through the 7th at LasVegas, NV. It is advertised in the TDR magazine and people have been posting about the event. We are also working on a dyno day in April. Probably either the 9th or 16th. We'll let the details out shortly and also have information at Central Motive Power. Talk to you later.

I'll be at Central Motive on the 19th for sure. As for may madness I had planned on going but as it turns out my brother graduates from CU that particular week end. I don't think I would ever live that one down :-{} , so I thought I better stay here and do the right thing. See everyone in March.

So you guys know, I went by Central Motive Power today to discuss our meet. They told me that Johnson Dodge will be there with 05 and 06 trucks to look at, who knows maybe test drive. Scott Bentz from Cummins Rocky Mountain is supposed to be there, as a guest speaker. This is really going to turn out to be a nice event. CMP is going out of their way to do a first class job for us. Let's make sure we step up to the plate and have a good showing.

Other than that, Dyno Day in April, May Madness, who knows whats next? I will see you there.

Central motive power is a go for me. Is anyone going to give any in-depth info on p-pumps and such or is it more of a open house, look around, and b-s kinda deal?



Now about may madness-what kinda budget are we talking about? Would $200-$300 cover expenses while there(mainly food and a room)? Are we going to try to get a group rate at a decent(not top of the line) hotel? Any interest in a convoy or truck-pooling?

I am sure that someone will be there who can answer your question or at least get back with you. They really seem to be nice people. If not talk to Laser Bob. He can set you straight.

As far as May Madness. If you plan on going I would make reservations now. Information is in the latest and the last issue of the TDR magazine. The campground seemed to be getting full when I called a couple weeks ago. Make sure you tell them you are attending May Madness, otherwise the answer may be " We are full up. ".



I'll be heading into Vegas from Moab on Tuesday before it starts. I know of a few people who want to go. I will be that far at that time and leaving Moab on Tuesday morning to head for May Madness. See everyone at CMP.

Bummer bud - I won't be able to attend. I'm doing our local Mopar club's dyno event that day - first of its kind both for our club, Southern Colorado Mopars, and the shop - Exhaust Readers, here in the springs.

Trevor to the rescue! Thanks bud for stepping up and hocho'ing the convoy. You know what's too funny, we're meeting at the same IHOP at 0730 before we cruise to the dyno shop. That's what I call great minds thinking alike! So we'll all see each other that morning one way or another.
