Another Dyno opportunity in ST.LOUIS

I would like to go but I will probably be there only in the am. Sorry about the late notice but my schedule is crazy these days. ended up being out of town for ATS.

Well that got wrapped up eairler than I thought. I was hopping to get off work by 12:00, but did not until 2:45. Showed up in the parking lot of CMP at three and it was empty.

How did it go?

Sticks,

I thought the meet went well. As always Central Motive Power did a great job. You did just miss us as it was about 2:30 when I pilled out of the lot and the last 4 or 5 people or so were leaving right behind me.

RMTDR Members,

I would like to thank everyone who showed up for this meet. We had about 30 people or so there and you guys put on a good turnout. The folks at CMP were pleased with how many people we had show. It was neat to see their shop and sit through some of the educational stuff and Q&A time. The group always has good questions and I feel we get informative information from CMP. I am looking forward to the Dyno Day in April and will see everyone there. I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a meet and greet type thing between now and then. Maybe I'll throw up a post about that and see if there is any interest. See ya all later.

It was very nice. Central Motive is a first class operation and the people there know what they are doing! If you are looking for injection supplies or need a pump rebuilt, these are folks to consider. They have the parts in stock and the factory approved equipment and personnel to "Ger-r-done".

Great price on Stanadyne too! Picked up a 5 gal jug which ought to keep me going for a while. Thanks to Mike and RMTDR for setting this up.

Anyone miss me? Sorry I couldn't attend. I forgot to tell my girlfriend about it until a week before, when she asked me if I wanted to go to "The Thorn" play at her old church. Her mom had already bought tickets and I did want to go, only problem was it was at 3:00 yesterday in the Springs. Glad to hear it went well!

Their talk on the VP44 sure makes a guy think you should carry a spare!

That's not funny Bob.

Now I don't know if I am sorry I missed it or not.

I already know CMP's opinion on the Hot Rod VP44s, and the general TDR consensus on the p-pump conversion on low to moderate power daily drivers is not good. What's a guy to do?

Sticks,

You can also worry about the KDP. They said they have found it to be moving in trucks as late as 2002 models. I guess there is always something.

That means more work for me!

Visual - I am walking in circles with my fingers in my ears, eyes sqinted shut saying the "Sha-na-na" lyrics.

Heck, nothing else to do, just pull the cover, and take a peek! Or do like I do with 3 of the darned things, just throw the dice, and hope for 8 the hard way! So far, so good... .

Darn, what was that funny sound just now!!! And a oil puddle!

Thank You Mike and CMP for a great meeting. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer. I still enjoyed it, and learned a little more.

Big A
