I was at the RMTDR meeting also and agree that Central Motive power put on an excellent show. Many Kudo's to Kevin and Big A also for setting this up. As a new diesel truck owner it was great to see the shop and learn new things. It was well worth our time. Bill Kondaly was also there and it was good to get his opinions about different things also.

I'm glad everyone had a good time. The least we can do is throw some business towards CMP. I plan on getting my additive through them.
We'll let you know when and where the next meeting is.

I also have to Thank everyone for showing up, I had a great time and learned lots. Though I do have to agree with Big A. I will also be taking some business to CMP, for not only showing how I really appreciated their show, but also because I was very happy to get straight and honest answers out of them.

Now a question out to everyone. Is anyone besides Frank and I interested in the Fuel filter that CMP showed us that has the clear water separater bowl on the bottom?

Again. . Thanks everyone!!!

Kev

Fuzz - I was thinking about mounting it under the truck in the fuel line... before the pump.

Sounds like an install meeting to me... LOL Fuzz if you end up calling CMP, can you please shoot me an e-mail on the price of the filter??

Thanks

Kev

I talked to CMP and they said the best place was on the frame (try to keep as low as possible). If you installed it on the frame, you would have to make a rock shield.

thanks

I was at Central Motive Power today getting additive for myself and a couple of friends. While there Vena mentioned that they are putting together a package with the fuel filter, mount bracket and rock shield to sell to the TDR people. She stated the cost to be around $275. 00 installed by them. She also mentioned that if 3 or 4 people wanted them and ordered them at the same time there would be an additional $10. 00 off the set price they had in mind. I forgot to ask her the price for just the parts, but I,m sure you could find out with a quick phone call. It seems they really want the TDR's business. I paid $40. 25 per case for the all season performance additive which was lower than the price stated on one of the flyers they had in the book of stuff they gave us during our meeting. Hope this information helps.
