New England Wrench Day -- Post Game

CFTDR meeting

All I heard was Sunday the 10th. I assumed you ment February because the 10th falls on an Sunday... But it does in March too.

So which one is it?

Febuary 10th

or

March 10th

plans changed..YES!

Hey my AZ travel plans have changed so I'm for March 10th. Who has directions/times for me?

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!! Oo.

March 10th

Are there any good steak houses in Louisville or Brighton? Boulder isn't out of reach. I've always wanted to go up 36, smoking the hell out of those bikers!!!

My wife has been saved and doesn't have to go  she will hate missing all of the reminiscing about the Navy days and talking diesel. But I will be there just the same.

March 10!

I'm on for 10 March too! Didn't they re-open the Traildust Steak house up on Arapahoe Rd? That would be an awesome pit stop for me... . any others?

Brian:D

Hey guys. Been wanting to come to one of the meetings since I got word of the RMTDR, finally I can (spring break). I even have up to four other guys that might want to come if they could. Would someone want to PM me some more info.

Thanks, Brian

Colby, Kansas

Eric,

To answer your question on the Steak houses. I looked up on Qwestdex.com (internet phonebook) and there is one in Louisville off of Dillon road.

I do know of a Trail Dust, Outback, Lonestar and Texas Road house not to far in the Thornton/Westminster area also.

Or as the guys stated there is a Trail Dust down on Arapahoe like the guys mentioned. Basically that is on the South Side of Denver. I really don't know how far you want to travel, nor how much of Denver you want to see. The one on Arapahoe is quite south of where you and I are, but the ones that I mentioned are way north for the other guys. Does anybody know of a good steakhouse in the middle?

Or I guess I should ask... what does everyone prefer?? I want to make sure we can accomodate everyones taste buds... LOL

As soon as we decide on a place, I will send directions to everyone and make arrangements for parking and at the restaurant. How does that sound??? Talk about service..... LMAO

Ohh and BTW..... since Brian wants some membership info. Guys... is it time that we start initiations??? LOL... . Hey I got an idea... I have a relative that just bought a PSD that may show up. Should we make Brian stand up buck naked in the bed while we drive the truck across the parking lot real slowly????? LMAO J/K!!!!

Brian... did you ever get your gauges installed?

Kev

Ummmm.

Initiations!?!?! Ummm, just remembered something I needed to do that day... . :p

My standing buck naked might scare all the diner's away. Pro-faster seating and easier parking, Con-they'd probably spit in our food. Course I don't know which is worse, my bare butt or being seen in the PSD. :-0 LOL, J/K.

Anyway... ... yes, the dealership installed the gauges (and did a BEAUTIFUL job too!), along with the Westin steps, the turboliner bed liner, Bug shields, paint sealant, mud flaps, tow hooks, Power Vision mirrors, wheel locks, spare tire lock, and let's not forget the locking fuel cap. :D :D :D

It's amazing. Capitalism that is... .

If they have great, honest, responsive company willing to do business they get customers (even if it is out-of-state!). They got my business, which after all the research and contacts I made is impressive. There was even a guy in the airport shuttle with me flying in from Alaska to pick his new truck up... ...

Brian

ps. Wasn't there a Tony Roma's Rib house around 225 and Illiff Ave? That might be a great middle ground. Same shopping center as the Soup-N-Salad (Illiff and Peoria????).

ROTFLMAO!!!!! That was a good comeback... . I gotta say that I didn't expect it... LOL

I'm glad to hear you got everything installed... if not I was gonna ask if you still needed help. I was thinking maybe a BOMBing party sounded good... LOL... . cause I need to find a way to make my truck smoke more. It's not enough that I have a huge black soot mark on my driveway from starting the blasted thing... . LOL

BOMBing party

Oh! Don't let my already having gauges stop you (us) from a bombing party! I'd love to get together and learn about our trucks!!! I must say that I'm... ... intrigued by the Edge EZ boxes and would be interested in comparing the stock (mine) against another's with the Edge in it.

Actually I'd also be interested in checking out the transmission place up in Denver (Westminster, I think, Diesel Performance or something..... don't have my TDR mag handy) also... . someday. I feel the transmission is a bit slippy for my taste stock so (again, far into the future) I'm going to have to consider a TQ or transmission change to give those good, solid shifts. Something that will endanger the rear window and rear passengers' heads with the whiplash comes to mind. I figure if I have to replace the rear window, I've found the right amount of power.

:--)

My doings in Colorado

Kevin,

The Southside of Denver isn't too awful bad of a drive. Let's find a place, I haven't eaten at a Trail Dust (we have the other steakhouses here in Indiana). Let's set the time around 4:00 pm. That should give us plenty of time to play, go to jail and get back for a nice dinner.

If you guys don't mind, I'll mention this gathering on Diesel-Central so the Ford boys can show up. I hope there will be other 12 valvers there!:D
