GLTDR Lansing meeting!

Awesome get together. ATS did great job as hosts. There was plenty of information, food, and fun. When a vendor works so closely with Cummins, they are obviously doing something right.

Excellent event!

All,

Wow! Wasn't that great?!? There was a little bit of everything for each of us there, whether that was the morning gawking, wishlist building, radio show, food!, seminars, test drives, meeting members, or just the sharing stories with other members there and catching up.

I gathered as much info as I could for an article but I think I might not be able to it justice unless I have your help. If you have any thoughts, comments, concerns, stories, etc. that you took away from the meet, PLEASE put them in a quick email out to -- email address removed --[/email] or a PM on TDR will work also. I'm not after complete stories, just short couple of sentences/paragraph on what you took away from the meet.

I'll incorporate these "snippets" into the article and fill in the parts I know about. Example; Hopefully someone can talk about the radio show portion because I was too busy outside to catch much more than bits n pieces!

I've got alot of stuff gelling in the mind, now to just get it down onto paper! With any additional info I can get, it will fill in nicely.

I would like to thank everyone who attended. You are what made it a success. I would like to publicly thank Mike of EMJAY for his controller presentation, Clint Cannon for his transmission seminar, Don Ramer for his performance upgrade talk, Scott Bentz from Rocky Mountain Cummins for bringing the dragster, Power Booster info and his insight on Cummins technical info that he presented. I would especially like to thank Ranee Cannon for pulling it all together, without her it would not have happened. Also thanks go to Bill Swails of Earthromer fame and the info he provided to the patrons of the event. Also thanks go to John Elway Dodge for bringing the 03 2500 and srw3500 to ooh and ahh over, test drive and the deals they offered. Also like to thank the employees of ATS that gave up their Saturday to be there and offer one on one info as well as setup and clean up of the event. I would also like to thank everyone else who helped out. Unfortunately I don't remember everyones name so if you helped out and aren't personally mentioned I apologize. The event went pretty well all in all. There were a few snags here and there but overall it went very well for our first time out with a meet that turned into an event. There were well over 200 people that showed up. Hope to see you all at the next one.

Sincerely,

Barry Gallagher

I just thought I'd say thanks and what a great job everyone did that was involved in putting this great event together. This was my first TDR event and if the others are like this I'll definitely be attending:D. By the way TDR has gained 2 more members. Before this event both of them were skeptical of its value, but both are now committed to the dark side:D One of them who owns his own full service mechanic shops purchased an ATS torque converter, valve body, and controller yesterday which I'm going to help him install this weekend. He is even thinking of giving TDR members discounts on tires, wheels, accessories and mechanic work. So if any of you would be interested please respond because if he gets enough interest he will implement these discounts for TDR members.

Hats off to Barry G. and the folks at ATS. Everyone involved in setting this up and making it happen did an "excellent" job. The attendance was outstanding, there were a lot of trucks and I believe everyone found something of interest at this event. Looking forward to future get togethers and events. I had a great time and as usual learned something of value.

Thanks for what everyone put together,

RMTDR Meeting

I want to thank Barry Gallagher, Clint Cannon and everyone else involved in the event that took place at ATS last weekend. It was the BEST! The sound of all the Cummins power cruising around was AWESOME!

I want to thank ATS for the door prize I won (trans valve body). It will go nicely in my soon-to-be overhauled/improved ATS transmission.

I'm also looking forward to attending and participating in more events in the future. I'll definitly be at the truck fest at Bandimere to test out my new transmission.

Thanks again, Jess Neal.
