RMTDR Meeting

Ok Guys... Big A and myself have met and we have details for the next meeting.

Big A and myself met with a local diesel company that will be putting on a tech session for us. The company is called Central Motive Power. They are going to put on a class for us and explain exactly how diesel injection works. All the way from the Fuel pump, to injectors, to turbos. These guys have a great shop, along with tons of knowledge and are completely willing to teach us about our diesels (what more could you ask for??).


So now I have to ask for a favor from all of the RMTDR crew. The guy that Big A and myself met with needs a list of how many of us will be attending this meeting. So if you will be attending, please e-mail me at karts@blit.net so that I can gather a count for Jerry.

OK... now that I am back at a computer I will fill you in with the details. The date for this session will be on Saturday, February 24th at 11 am. Further details can be located at The Rocky Mountain TDR Website

Are they going to to explain the mechanical vs eletrical injection pump concepts as well? Just curious.

Anyhow count me in, but need a tenative date so I can request time off from work if needed.

Kudos to you upper elevation Rammers. My family and I just returned from a ski trip to Dillon and were amazed at the ratio of Rams vs. PSD's. Must have been 20 or 30:1. There was 1 Duramax, so at least they were represented. Maybe clearer heads prevail in the thin air and us flatlanders can learn something from you guys. BTY, any of you guys from the Summit County area? If not, you may want to reach out to them. There's a bunch of 'em.

Can whoever has the OBDII scanner/laptop bring it to meeting so I can check the computer on my truck for something and thanks if you can't oh well I can live without checking it. Also can it remove any codes that it finds?

JKloppe... the stickers sound great. As far as numbers... it looks like about 30 - 35 people.


As far as you Bill. I think we need to discuss this as a group as to if we want to be bothered by a troublemaker like yourself...

LOL... Just kidd'n You are more then welcomed to join us. I know that everyone would be extremely tickled to finally meet you in person. As far as a quick schedule. . I know that some people will have to leave after the diesel injection seminar. . but I am hoping to go somewhere and let everyone BS for a while. . and get to know Bill. Bill do you have any plans while here except helping Bob?

BTW... Bill I owe you a meal since I had to leave Wednesday night early. Jamie knows of a mexican restaraunt that you may enjoy, and last... so where the heck are you... you're cell phone keeps goin to voicmail.

Ok fellas. If you did'nt register for the meeting,then you wont be able to attend the Central Motive Power tour. I dont mean to be a hard A@#$@, but Kevin and I needed to give Central Motive a number of people attending by today. If you did'nt know about the meeting,then contact Kevin or I.
As far as how many people are attending,we're looking at about 35.
Also,CMP is going to offer specials on power goodies and services to RMTDR members.
