Big Thanks out to the RMTDR

Lunch April 5th at Famoous Dave's.

Hey Fella's,

WE have a wrench day set up for March 09, 2003. It is being held at a Big "o" Tire store at 126th and Colorado Blvd. in Thorton CO. A friend of mine has a new store and offered to let us have a wrench day there. I am doing an injector change in my truck and another guy I know will be doing the same thing. Anybody else interested in coming to help, do something to your truck or just enjoy the B. S. and company is more than welcome. Let Barry G. or myself know if you are interested.

Best Regards,

Mike Lockner

Mike:

I will be there for sure. I think I am going to start my sound reduction project that day. The materials are on the way should be here by the end of this week. What time should we plan on getting there?

Also any of you 12 valve guys that were interested in the KDP fix might want to get a jig here from DRawson and get a kdp party going. I would be willing to help though I have never done one.

I will mark it on my calendar. No work needed on my truck at this time. I’ll try to make it just for the camaraderie and to hopefully learn something. -frank

Alex... . new goodies and your not sharing what you got with the rest of us? That's not fair. . LOL Did you end up getting an E-brake?

MLockner... you just put in 275's what are you switching too now?

I'm not sure if I'll be at the meet or not. We have a fashion show/sales market going on that week in Vegas and I know I'll have to be out there to DJ it, I'm just not sure of the exact dates yet.

Kev

Kevin, it's getting a PDR HX40/16, 4 inch exhaust and some stage 2 injectors and a few little things this year. Should run fairly good when I'm done.

Mike

Brian,

Don't forget, we need to finish your final initiation exam. Now, we need to test your endurance and your dedication to all of us Dodge owners.

For your final mission you will need to run down Colorado Blvd for 2 blocks in a chicken outfit and a pair of Dodge Ram Boxershorts (over the chicken outfit of course) emitting the sound of a Cummins Turbo Diesel through a megaphone. :D :D

If you pass, then you can become an official RMTDR member. Does everyone else agree with these terms? LMAO

Kev

Matt,

Don't worry, changing injectors is very simple. It just takes about an hour and lot of beer drinking to complete!!!

Ohh and you can't forget the most important part, Brian running around in a chicken suit. Sorry Brian, It looks like Barry was the deciding vote. :D :D

Kev

Kev,

Now why do ya gotta go there???

But that's ok, I wasn't going to say anything but.....

Hmm, after careful review of the club's nonexistant records I see here that there must've been an oversight. Seems Kevin hasn't taken said exam either!

So warm up the chicken suits boys, there's gonna be a flock of us!:D :D :D

On a serious note-Does anyone know a alignment tech that might be able to look at gibson's truck?

This is probably going to show up in my column (24v) if I can pinpoint a cause. Seems to be affected several people on the TDR.

Brian, in response the the nonexistant records, that would be because I was part of the originating crew that decicded that all new members would have to be initiated into the clan. :D :D

I'm not sure if he does our trucks but talk to Laser Bob (Bob Berends). He owns a business doing alignments on big trucks. I also would like to find someone good who can do alignments cause my alignment is starting to fade off. Guess its from running over to many curbs. (ooops).

Hey, Kevin

Laser Bob only does big trucks. Nothing our size. They guy with the Big O tire store just got a brand new alignment machine that is big enough to do long bed dually's and stuff. It might be worth checking it out at our wrench day. I saw the machine and it looks like a nice unit. I believe he can get the lowered vehicles onto this machine also.

Mike,

Do you think he would be able to run our trucks, if not test them on this machine to find out if it will work?

Kev

I should be able to be there... Count me in. I'll have my sound deadening project done by then, but I might be able to find something else to do...
