I have ordered the base bumpers front and rear. Phoned order in on the 10th and faxed order confirmation back on the 12th. Was told that if they had the bumpers in stock that they would go to powder coat and probably be shipped in about two days. Was also told that I would recieve a phone call with a tracking number.

I want to ask those of you who have bought bumpers what kind of time frame you had until delivery? I have not heard from them since I placed the order. My order is for the base stealth units in black. Seems to me that they would have these in stock.

I have heard a lot of horror stories about them, all second hand but they are never good. I hope they come through for you.

They make nice looking bumpers, but.....

I have seen a lot of complaints here and on other websites about them. Mainly with their sometimes extremely long delays in shipping your purchase. Do a search for both Road Armor and Alien Patrol.

Also, I thought they had changed their name to Alien Patrol

Yes, I had a lengthy conversation with the guy that makes Alien Patrol by phone and when I emailed him for more info and references I never got a response from him again. He claimed that he and Road Armor separated ways.

I got further responses from others that Alien Patrol lacked in fit and finish and to stay with Road Armor. So far Road rmor has answered the phone and emails. I am just a bit let down by the fact that they don't seem to be able to produce their most basic piece in what I consider a reasonable amount of time.

Indeed the gent that runs Alien Patrol used to be an owner and designer for Road Armor. They did separate and the stories are different depending on who is telling them. I have heard good and bad about Alien Patrol, but I thought that Road Armor was on the up and up.

January 8 and I am still waiting for Road Armor to contact me with a tracking number.

I hope that they had a good Christmas Party with the money that they drew from my Credit Account back in December.

Would I do this again? Hmmmm... ... ?

You usually have one 30-60 days to dispute a CC charge and a phone call will not do. You must phone them and then put it in writing and mail it to the correct group for them to start the process.

Bought in Jan06---arrived in June of 06,after many screw-ups. Wrong bumpers(F/R) the first time,no brackets with the replacement bumpers, wrong brackets to fix the missing brackets #@$%!#@$%!#@$%!,"Nightmare to deal with customer service wise cause there is'nt any. I have had several request/questions regarding my purchase from interested people and i bet i have turn away many future buyers/business after telling then about my "Road Armor" experience. I hope they read some of these forums and fix some of there many mistakes----never ever again will i do business with a vendor like that. Make me wonder how they can stay in business---look for other options before these guys. PS love there product but everything else 'SUCKS ----MY 2 CENTS DW"

Yea, that pretty much clinches it. I did not get a call from them today and I did also email them yesterday. I guess that they have so much business up armoring our troops that they don't need mine. Cancellation is in progress.

I am a man of patience, but six months to get it right? Hell our new administration is going to fix things with our economy on the 21st of this month! Can I get a bail out?

well i've stated my 2 cent's in the rear bumpers thread. FAB-FOURS call them they will do you good! When I get more time i will post pics.

After reading numerous complaints of delays shipping product, shipping the wrong hardware, and poor customer service. I don't think I could talk myself into buying from them.

Too bad they are so unreliable. They have some really nice looking bumpers, and even make a front one for my old '91.
