Road Trip,Mt. Rushmore, Wyoming

Left Paris, TX. With a 32 ft gooseneck on Saturday am. Unhooked it Sunday evening in Minot, ND. Stayed in Bismark, SD. Sunday night then took off Monday to see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse memorial. Stayed Monday night in Wheatland WY. On Tuesday am we headed to Cheyenne, topped off at the Flying J with fuel and took out on I-80 through Nebraska. Had to stop at Cabela's in Sydney. Got all the way to McPherson, KS and stayed the night. Left Mcpherson on Wednesday am and got home about 8:30 that evening. Had lot's of fun driving the truck. No trouble and best fuel milage was 21. 25 and the worse was 14. 9.

On the way home wifey even drove for about 45 minutes!

You missed my house by about 2 miles if you headed west of Bismarck on I-94. I am about 30 miles west if Bis. BTW Bismarck is still inside ND state lines by about 75 miles. What did you think of the Dakotas during your quick pass through?

I thought all of it was beautiful. I think I liked Wyoming the best. South Dakota was super neat as well.

Wife and I just got back 2 weeks ago from a 6 week trip. We stayed 5 days in Custer and bounced around to Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, etc. She had never seen Rushmore and neither had seen Crazy Horse. We also bounced over to Deadwood. We even went to see the night shows at Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Even got good fly fishing in SD. We made a loop starting in AZ around to the Sierras. Hope you had as great a time as we did.
