I did a search already and read all the previous comments about the Roadmasters. I was just looking for additional information. I'm trying to decide between the SteveStL Ladder bars and the Roadmasters, or possibly both. In the post I've read it seemed that members either loved the Roadmasters or felt like they did nothing. And Steve is obviously very happy with his Ladder bars.

I'm trying to eliminate the "bounciness" in the rear when empty and the axle wrap that is present in snow and sand.

I really don't want to spend the money on both, so your input to help me make the best choice would be greatly appreciated.

BTW the truck is a 96 with no swaybar.

Thanks for all the help,
Ryan

Ryan, can't say about the ladder bars but the Roadmasters got rid of my wheel hop. The bouncing is shocks. The stockers are junk when new and only get worse fast imo. The rebound damping on the shock has most to do with damping bounce and seems to be the first to go in a shock. If the shock lets the springs unload too fast it launches the truck. I have section of road I drive home every day that tells me the condition of my shocks. When new, the truck barely bounces over the section. When the shocks loose damping ability I get launched up against the seat belts. My wife is the best gauge though, she makes unhappy noises when riding in the truck when it needs new shocks #ad
