My old Ford gasser once popped an alternator belt in Marietta, Oklahoma on the way back to Fort Worth. It was about 9:30PM. AAA couldn't get me a new belt, but I had AAA+ so I had them tow me from Marietta to my house in Fort Worth. All but about 10 miles was covered by AAA. I got home cheaper by being towed than if I had bought gas for the last leg of the trip.
