Competition Rob Thomas: Truck Puller?

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition Group buy on Boost Cooler - Water/Meth injection

Competition HP to 1/4

You may have noticed, poor Rob takes a beating on this subject.

Mostly becuase his truck was on chat background way too long.

But also because he dared to get within 1 foot of me last year at Jesup. I settled that this year, hehehe.

Anyway, his truck doesn't pull bad at all for the class he should be in.

No doubt you are asking yourself ,"Why is SP being nice to Rob?"

And I answer:

Becasue I forgot Rob made a sweet set of driveshaft loops, that are two piece, can be driven on the street, and put on without removing the driveshafts.

And I wan't a good deal. :D

Maybe next year

They could have two classes, full blown pulling trucks, and us little guys. That would make things look a lot better for us under powered guys. I think everyone did reall good down there it was a funny track.

Craig

P. S. Gene I think it's to late for the "Good Guy" discount :)

Charge him double Rob. (or even triple :D )

Craig,

If you didn't notice, there were no stock classes for anything.

Some of the wimp single chargered (but highly modified) trucks from Indiana, didn't make the trip because they said,

"We can get beat by Kent Crowder around here, why go there to do it?"

Because that is an awesome track, its nice weather, and its a good time!LOL

Besides, you can beat street trucks at home!

I salute the street guys who ran with the big dogs. I'm neither one, just a redheaded step child with a lisp... .

:(

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...

OK Sleddy, since I am STILL the president of the Rob Thomas Fan Club INC... all requests need to go through me first.

However, on another thread, "RTFC INC" (me) had asked for a discount on your 2003 tape. You had replied...

Rob Thomas in yer sig=NO DISCOUNT

After careful review and after much consideration on the matter, we here at RTFC INC feel that your just screwed. If you would like to appeal this ruling, feel free to contact me personally.

Thank you, and have a nice day.

Umm, ok... lets see here...

Upon reviewing your appeal, and after days of deliberation, I have decided your still screwed. If anybody is gonna get a discount, its gonna be me. :-laf :-laf :-laf

Oh jeez, these guys are more emotional than women.

I like yours too, Chris, ok?

AS long as we are discussing loops,

5/16 is legal, and you are allowed 2" of clearance the whole way around, no need to crowd the joints!!!

Sledpuller,

Now I think someone is just messing with you, did you see todays "Truck of the Day" on the front page? Yup, you guessed it, it's a dump truck and it looks kinda like this... ...

Turbo tim, that may just push Gene over the edge. LMAO :)

I will have pics up as soon as I get the finished product coated, with the holidays it may take 2 weeks though.

Kirk, however these loops will work just fine for drag racing, they may be a touch overkill. They are designed for sled pullers, and meet the most demanding rules we have to date. I will post more information when I post the pics in the next few weeks.

Rob

I'm not condoning this but I bet if everyone that looks at this thread PM'ed Gene a picture of Rob's truck you could have him on prozac by the end of the month:D
