What kind of tape is it that they use for the holes on the rocker panel and any idea where to get it.

Now that I have a tonneau cover on, my stake pockets are open and I'd like the cover the holes inside the stake pocket that are open into the bed. JUst trying to keep the water out of the bed when it's raining and the cover is on.

THanks,

Nick

That stuff looks like plain old duct tape to me. I told my dealer about it and he sent me a set of the rubber plugs that should be on there, no charge. Don't know what to use on the stakes, though. Duct tape???

Actually to me it didn't look like duct tape, it was more of a "material/cloth" tape than duct tape, I also dont' think that duct tape will stick that well when it gets wet

This is a little more expensive than you may want to go, but have you considered some bed caps that have no holes in them for the stake hole pockets?

i think it might just be gaffers tape. i have some black gaffers tape at home and it is strong stuff... expensive though... [like 3x-5x duct tape price]

YEah, I thought of that, but I use the stake pockets for a set of racks that I use when I'm going kayaking.

So the racks don't stay in all the time.
