Rocks from tires chipping paint !!!!

I have 1748 miles on my 05. Rocks being thrown up by the tires is chipping the rockers and doors all to pieces. I have the molded mud flaps. They help some but not enough. Does any spray on liner come in mineral gray met. ? Is there a coating like is on the bottom of a lot of imports that can be sprayed on? Any suggestions would help greatly! Thanks!

You can get a clear film to appliy to the rockers and lower body panel. It usually comes in 6" - 10" widths. Check with your auto supply stores, they should be able to get it. You could also check the body shops. I installed full running boards with mud flaps to prevent further damage. My wife likes them for getting in and out of the truck.

I've seen the lower gray part (on a two tone truck) done over with Line-X in black and that didn't look to bad but I don't know about gray. Seems as though they could do it since they have so many colors.

I had line-x sprayed on the rocker panels on my truck, they guy did a great job. this pic was taken about 4 months ago. . I think. anyway, it still looks the same even after having some hefty rocks hitting it.

My Brother In Law Has A Silver 3rd Gen He Had The Black Line X On His Rockers Looks Real Good Too. Standing Right At It You Can See The Line X, But From A Little Ways Away It Just Looks Two Tone.
