How's bout those MARINERS!!!!

say its not true vanman

I am seeing all these postings for get togethers, show n shines, races, pulls, and various other diesel related events. It seems though all these events are on the East or West coast or in the Midwest. I am in Denver and I know that there are lots of CTD's running around here, but I never see any postings on here for the Rocky Mountain Region. I know that Cummins Rocky Mountain puts on a "truck fest" at Bandimere Speedway, but I don't ever see any dealers perticipate in show n shines or any events. I am also a little dissappointed in the selection of diesel "performance" shops in this area. Am I the only one that feels this way in Denver? Do I just need to move to a more Cummins Performance oriented place. Should I get with my local chapter and try to get some people in the area motivated? Thoughts, ideas, anyone?

P. S. More info on Truck Fest in Denver, Colorado.

EOliver- There is a RMTDR Club that meets once a month or so.

Do a search for member K_Arts and then send him an email. Kevin does a lot of organizing for club events, and could use a hand with ideas and setups.

I've been living in the Denver area since the late 70's & I do love this area.

However, this may ruffle a few feathers, but Denver is just an overgrown "cow" town & is on the leading edge on nothing.

So far the only deisel performance shop I've heard about is Automotice Transmission Specialists over in Wheat Ridge who I know does BD plates etc. . They are also an authorized GV dealer (doing advance research in case I have trouble w/ mine). You might consider contacting them 303-431-7973 & see whats going on if anything?

I do not have 1st hand experience w/ them, yet...

:)

Have you talked to :

They are an authorized Diesel Dynamics dealer. No experience with them tho. Good diesel "performance" shops are far and few between. Best bet is to find some local members (theres lots of them) and pretty much do everything yourself.

Least your overgrown "cow" town has the new Pepsi Center and the new football stadium. Going to games and concerts out there was fun. Granted I would never live in "Denver" its still a nice place to be. I lived in both CastleRock and Thorton before moving out here to Omaha.

We're are on the leading edge of the Rocky Mountains, and that's good enough for me. All of you folks from California, go home ... you won't like it here anyway.

Big A and myself have organized the RMTDR. . and we are trying to schedule a meeting now. Please feel free to call me at 303-885-2875 and I'd be glad to share any info with you that I can.

As far as diesel performance shops... yeah we are lacking them in Colorado, but I am friends with many TDR vendors and can help you get pretty much anything that you need. Then. . hmmmm sounds like a BOMBing party to me.
