HO HO HO!! :D Howdy all y'all RMTDR folks! Mike Lockner and I wanted to set up a Christmas Party for all of us Rocky Mountain area types, and we are happy to announce that we're havin' us a Christmas Holiday Lunch Party! Oo.

Dec 5th, 12 - 3 pm - Denver, CO - Bennetts Pit BBQ, at 52nd and Wadsworth.

Mark your calendars and head on to Denver on Dec 5th for a nice lunch/meet and greet with all of the fellow RMTDR members. To clarify - if you're in the Rocky Mountain Region, and you're on the TDR, you're automatically a 'member'. Nothing official needed. ;)

Order from the menu from some of the best BBQ in the area! We have a 65-person room ready for us to invade. Bring a gift, receive a gift - Typically gifts are in the Cummins/Truck/Mopar/Repair/Detail range, and usually not more than about $20 bucks. Be sure to wrap 'em tho - the gift exchange is always a hit, and you never quite know what you'll end up with! :-laf

Bring your photo albums, scrap books, best bench racin' stories, and Santa hats. A lunch was thought of as the best time frame as some folks will be travelling from as far as Cheyenne and Pueblo, and we wanted to try to keep from having anyone driving home in the dark.

RSVP's not required, but please feel free to reply back to this post so we'll have a ball park number to look out for.

Many more details coming, including detailed directions and the procedure for the gift exchange - yer gonna love it!

Thanks to all of you that have expressed interest in regional and meet/greet events. Mike and I are looking forward to meeting all of you and having a great day. See you then. Oo.

Hey Guys, If you guys are in Denver the weekend of Dec17-19 stop in at the International Motorcycle Show. I'll be in the Harley-Davidson show area. Stop buy and say hello. Jeff

RMTDR friends,

More details on the meet/greet Holiday Party as follows. The location is:

Bennett's Pit Bar-B-Que

Bennett's Arvada

7490 West 52nd Avenue

I-70 to Wadsworth North to 52nd then East one Block

Wadsworth is Exit 269 on the West side of town

Coming North or South on I-25 Go West on I-70 to Exit 269 North

If you can, please respond to myself or Sam and let us know if you are coming. You can let us know if you want to join in on the Chuck Wagon Family style meal or if you want to order off the menu. Bennett's would like an approx. head count especially for the Chuck Wagon meal. On the Chuck Wagon meal there is seven meats to chose from, plus the side dishes and stuff. We're doing the Chuck Wagon meal as it will be the quickest for Bennett's as they have to prepare orders from the menu separate. Please choose what you would like to do and let us know. You are responsible for your own food and drinks. The friendship and entertainment are free. Come join us for a good time. The room holds up to approx 65 people and we can overflow into the restraunt if need be I'm sure.

Concerning the gift exchange. If you want to participate just bring a gift and there'll be a gift for you to chose from to open at the party or take home. We are also hoping for some donations to hand out as door prizes. We will see what happens.

I'll be there, Coming from Salt Lake City so unless there is someone further away, I am a long ways away.

Going to bring my Winter fronts for door prizes and I will "Gift" up some other things I have. Will want the chuck wagon food.

Eric,

It's nice that you can come to the Denver area and attend our Holiday party. I am looking forward to meeting you as I own a set of your winter fronts and have always been pleased with them. I'll get that info off to you also.

RMTDR Holiday party guests;

One of the members suggested that we include a toy donation for Childrens Hospital ot our party. I think this is a great idea, so if you would like to participate bring an unwrapped toy with you and I will see that they get to Childrens Hospital the following day.

There will also be some good door prizes with a special door prize being donated by the TDR for everyone to have a chance at winning. Looking forward to seeing you there. We have about 40 people committed to coming at this time. I will announce upcoming events that I should have firmed up by then at the party.

Not sure if I can make it or not, but I'll try. Gotta replace the heater core in the wife's Expedition this weekend. We'll see how it goes... ... . Maybe I can drag boondock with me now that we got his truck back on the road... .

I'm at the Walton, KY Flying J, DH back to Bristol, IN, Angola DOC has the truck tomorrow, if he gets it done and I get loaded for West I might just be able to make it. Second thought it would be crazy for me to try. Just never get that many ducks in a row, besides that I'd just sleep after driving that far to make it. Dang. . . but one of these days it's gonna work out and I'm gonna make it. Have a bunch of fun. . . I'll be a thinkin on ya.

Cheers,

Steve J
