Fellow Rocky Mountain/Colorado Springs TDR members:
As many of you know there is a Denver-based RMTDR group which focuses on TDR events and coordinates activities within the Rocky Mountain region. Recently I spoke with the RMTDR president, Mike Lockner, and asked if there was a C'Springs-based subgroup of the TDR and who I could contact to find out more about the events in the area. I found there hadn't been a C'Springs group developed yet and he asked if I would be interested. Mike and his wife Tammy came out to my house yesterday and we had a very nice afternoon talking about some plans/ideas for the upcoming year. We quickly became friends and I am please to announce that I accepted the role of Event Coordinator for the Colorado Springs TDR.
I am also currently the Activities Director, Secretary, and newsletter editor for the Southern Colorado Mopars car club of Colorado Springs - a rabid group of die-hard Mopar old-iron collectors/drivers/racers. We've been doing events within the C'Springs area for years and I'm happy to work the same effects for the CSTDR.
Events we're planning include: Dyno days, power tours, bombfests, picnics, poker runs, camping excursions, 4-wheeling, and Tours de Garage', to name a few.

As events form up I'll be posting in the Local and Regional Chapters & Events forum, specifically for the C'Springs area, and as well I'll ping the 'generation' forums with the hyperlinks.
We're looking forward to a terriffic 2005 and speaking personally I am happy to help in the coordination. I'm looking forward to meeting those of you in the region and attending the TDR events. Those of you in the first gen forum know I'm just beginning the BLU-OXX and the rig will be down for a while, but I'll be at the events even if it's in my beater Ramcharger!
Many thanks for the opportunity - Keep the hammer down and the power Mile-High!
