MO truck pulls

Southern Colorado Dyno Day

Joe,

There's 3 of us meeting at the Sears lot, Chapel Hills Mall, and leaving at 0700. Feel free to join our little convoy! I know that puts us there a little after the 0900 start time, but I refuse to get up that early on a Saturday :D

Let me know if you want to hook up with us, and we'll wait on you.

I hate to admit this, but there may be more Ferds there than Dodges. I hope you all are just lying quietly in wait to show up.

Tell your buddies. This snow will be gone (I hope).

Heck, we did one in January in a snow storm and still ran over 30 trucks.

It only takes one pull on the dyno and the tires are dry as a bone. Hopefully the weather will cooperate, it was way to cold at the last dyno day.

The smoke show starts in Cheyenne at 8:00 am, but if you wanna skip that, the dyno is at 9 ish in F. C. from what I read. :D I'll have to trust ya on the dry tire thing Richard. ;)

Thanks to all for a GREAT time today, especially Laserbob who spent half the day on his back:eek: Looked like a good showing from us Dodge guys, but I left about 1:30pm so don't know if any more F**ds showed up. Did anyone collect all the results?

Hats off too laserbob for working his butt off today hooking all those trucks up. It was a interesting day and I learned a little more :D .

The "Farm Truck" 97 12 valve w/ twins

put down 640+ HP and flat lined the Dyno at 1500 ft lbs by the looks of the curve I'd guess it passed 1800?

I blew away my expectations. I was hoping to break 300, ended up with a high of 369/900. Will have to work on egt's. Thanks all for the help and it was great to put some more faces to names. Once again, CTD is on top!:D

No, I just hooked up the trailer and went home.

That is after we ran a twin turbo Mazda RX7 and some other little car. you could add up their hp and tq and still not impress very many diesel guys.

I did notice one thing... I guess it's true, my lugnuts do take more torque than those cars make. Although I won't argue the fact that the 200+hp that one made will sure throw all 2000lbs it down the track pretty quick.

It was a fun time as usual. Anybody have a total count of how many trucks ran? They could only account for 22. I'm thinking over 40.

Shay from NCPSD says a big thank you to the TDR for the invite on behalf of her club.

Hey guys,

Thanks for inviting the CPSC out to your dyno day. I think everyone enjoyed themselves and we all especially liked seeing that 664 HP Dodge run.

Now if we can just keep those rice burners off the dyno on our diesel days, that would be good. LOL.

We appreciate being included. I will be getting the charity dyno day in the works soon.

Keep in touch,

Shay
