Rokktech Muffler

Has anyone tried it yet? Does it flow better that stock? Looking for an inexpensive way to upgrade the stocker. Thanks ahead of time.

I have the rokktech muffler and like it. Slightly louder than stock with my cat



still in place. The design is totally open inside and if you look through it there



are no visible obstructions. I had local muffler shop install for 40 bucks.

There was no additional peppiness felt and can't comment on any egt drop



because I have yet to install my egt gauge .

The main purpose is to drop my egt's. I'm sure there'll some improvement.

The reason for my muffler is mainly in preparedness for a performance module



and am hoping for an egt benefit. How do you like your edge ez?

It's perfect. I wasn't looking for anything major. Just a touch more get'n go. The only other real mods I'm looking at doing is a Rokktech sensor and possibly a Snow water/meth setup. Maybe down the road I would love to add a Kore Pace set up. Oh I forgot and a TAG III.

if you just do minor mods as you say, your not going to blackout the street with the 3rd gens unless your pushing some big HP and mods. as for drone with the straight pipe, mine isn't all that bad i can deal with it. drove to texas 15 hrs. and didn't bother me. best of luck which ever way you go.

Have you towed anything with your truck since putting the Rokktech muffler on? I'm interested in using this muffler, but am concerned about droning at 1800-2000 rpms while towing my 5er.

I have done moderate towing,(6,500-7,000lbs) with no drone noticed



throughout rpm range. That was before I install my afe stage 11. Now all I



hear is stage 11 jet engine like whistle.
