I tried one on mine, but it was with my stack setup. My impressions were that it was fairly quiet in the cab, but on the outside it was a whole different sound. It sounded very airy like it took all the "tone"/rumble out of the exhaust. I switched back to my MBRP for the stacks as it has a killer sound. I'm sure it sounds okay with a full exhaust. The muffler works by acoustic cancelation so it makes sense that it would drop the low end or muscle from the mix. There have been a few that have used them so I'm sure they'll chime in. Just my . 02 on the stacks
I had one on my 05 for about 35000 miles till a sand dune removed it. I liked it. It was quiet till you stomped on the go pedal and it was like you awoke a monster outside.
Mine was not installed properly which lead to its premature demise.
