roll-n-lock lovers,
If all your after is security then by all means get the roll and lock.
I forget that I live in a state with only 600,000 people and security is not number one problem. Dealing with almost 600,000 home owners with guns, crime seems to be very low. Call it Prairie Justice.
I bought the one I use for the convenience and afordable price, More money to spend on other products.
Like I said before I know people who have had the roll-N-lock and did not like it due to the cold temps here in ND. Locks freeze from snow which melts dureing day even if it is below freezeing because metal and black absorb heat which melt snow and then refreezes in the evenings. We have gravel roads and dust gets in the locks, if you use any lube or lock anti-freeze. Even fine peices of rock can jam the tumblers in the locks.
americana,
I would rather have to replace a $400. 00 AG cover cut by a $1. 00 knife than replace a $800. 00 roll-n-lock and $1,000. 00 end gate pryed open with a stolen pry bar.
My two cents,
Ron
