Does anyone else get tired of the roll over valve slowing their filling of their tank with the larger fuel nozzles? I sure do. I want to remove the roll over valve. Has anyone removed from the fuel tank? Is it difficult? Do you have to remove the fuel tank to accomplish this task? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks, but that isn't my problem. When I fuel up, the roll over valve will not let me get in my last 3 or 4 gallons because the valve floats to the closed position and then the fuel takes forever to leak down past the ball. Most of the time I have to shake the truck to get the fuel down. This adds about 5 to 10 minutes to the fueling process.

On my '95s the roll over ball was in the hose between the fill cap and tank. Just remove the hose, pop the ball out and go play some tennis. No need to remove tank if the hose clamp screw is in the right position.

1997 has the ball in a nylon (?) cage at the end of the filler pipe. Remove the filler neck (pipe) and you can see the check ball in the end. 3 screws inside the filler door, two hose clamps.

Roll over valve , they are like a fire extinguisher you only need it when there is a fire. Don't Smoke just don't smoke and if you roll over just don't smoke. :-{} :--) Ron in Louisville KY
