Roller tip lifters in the Cummins?

I don't think roller lifters would work on the cam anyway. The lobe shape is quite a bit different on a roller cam.

I've been told there is no benifiet until around 7000 rpm.

I acctually have no desire to run those kind of rpm. I like usable/streetable power combo.

I may be changing my cam thow for a broader power range

Then all he would have to get past is the pump exploding at 5400 RPM! Hmmm. Maybe common rail has some advantages after all!
