The truck is an 05 and I'm now sitting in a spot where it rains and rains... and I'm getting water through the lights... I went back and looked at many of the threads... I thought there was a change in part # for the gasket from foam to rubber? And thought I'd find the up-graded one to be sure I only do this once...

I'd consider looking for LED's if someone could suggest a source that their happy with ..... I would only assume that the LED's would come with gaskets...

Thanks for your comments...

Jim,

It was an entire kit that had the newer style gaskets. Lights and gaskets came in it.

I had them changed in my '06 under warranty just to be sure I never had a leak.

Let me see if I can find the part number while I eat lunch...

so the set is about $52 including the lights... do these install in the factory holes in the cab or does this kit require new holes...

I've looked for these in LED's but none of the LED's I've found seem to use the same factory screw holes... suggestions...

I'm going on his signature that is showing it to be an '05.

He does need to check before ordering for sure. The link to Mopar parts shows a date of 07/05 and up in the part description but I don't know if that is a bolt pattern change or simply when they started using the newer gasket????

Jim, I would be more that happy to measure mine this weekend center to center if you want me to.

Mike.

Ok, here is what I think....

Two styles of these marker lights floating around...

55077067 fits 99-02. Has screws left and right.

55077559 fits 03-09. Has screws front and rear.

03-09.jpg

Some dealers sites show 06-09 on the 55077559AB or AD. Other dealer sites show 03-09 on the 55077559AB or AD.

I looked up an '04 myself using the on-line parts fiche on our TDR site and still came up with the 55077559AB.

That's as sure as I can be without having one in my hands.

Mike.

There I'm with you, they sell it for all MYs, but I think they updated the partnumber to the restyled Part.
I meant the older style isn't available anymore?

I bought the full Kit with the new styled (white) Lightcovers and in the installation manual there was an information about that.

Glad that you brought it up. Always good to double check.

I want to give the most accurate information possible. One of the great things about the TDR is the information, not speculation that is available to us all on these pages.

I swapped my OEM foam sealed lights out for the clear 2010+ lights with the better gasket. The lights lined up perfectly, no drilling required.

John.... When you installed the clear lens... did you put an amber bulb in the light or did you just let it show white lite...

Mike... I'm still in OR doing my volunteer work... I won't need you to measure them for me... its raining cat's and dog's and I'll be in AZ in a week and than I'll attack this and get it repaired...

Since my lights are in good condition... if I decide not to go white.. or LED are the new style gaskets available by them selves... everything I've seen is a kit...

Thanks for all the input... too many decisions.... but I need to fix them so I guess I'll make a decision soon...

A couple of mine started leaking a couple of years ago and I just put some RTV gasket maker under the culprits. No leaks since. $5 vs $50 when all I needed was gaskets.
