Has any here bought/installed the LED triangle marker lights from parts systems. I was wondering what they look like. I have no roof lights and I am debating if I should go with stock or these? Thanks guys this site rocks!!!

I'd like to find out more about these lights too.

I'd like to put them on my truck, currently I don't have any roof lights.

Are there color restrictions? Are there any retro-fit kits out there?

Seems like this would be a pain in the rear to do... . headliner removal and all...

Yeah, my current truck doesn't have the heavy duty lights and I miss them. Matt Miller on the ford site has clear hd lights on his black 350 and they look good. I ain't goin for the hip look, plus brown isn't a really sporty color, but they look good on his truck.

Men, I just completed my clearance light install on Saturday with the Maxxima LED triangular lights. The headliner was not a big deal at all. I dropped the front of the headliner and found the factory holes for running the wires. This told me where to drill my holes for the new lights. I did not wire my lights up, I have to have the top of my truck painted soon. This way, I only have to unscrew the five lights to get paint applied, then re-attach them and run the wiring. I have thought about wiring the lights to run with the ignition on, like D R L on the new trucks. Also, the overhead console has enought room to ad switches and relays to make the clearance lights blink like four way flashers (Cool) or work in conjuction with the front turn signals. There are endless configurations for this.

I have connected them to the battery before installation, and they were bright. They have eight LEDs visible from the front and eight LEDs visible from the top. I will keep you informed.

Hey Ron- Glad to see you got the lights on OK. I told you they were bright!:D

I have them on my truck, like I told Ron, the only problem I have had is with the ground connection. I ended up soldering a connection to them and haven't had any trouble since. I have digital photo around here someplace that I posted about a year ago when I first installed them. I'll see if I can find it.

The guys at Parts Systems are top notch.

Ronco,

Did those lights come with gaskets so they won't leak?

Also, are those the lights that are in the Bus section on partssystems.com??

The only place I found the triangular LED lights were in the Bus section... . ????

Thanks

Chris
