That would be looking up at the damage on my 1991 W350. This started with some surface rust on the face of the drip rail. An area where the paint had either peeled or chipped off. I was cleaning the rail to fill it and prime it. When I got under the rail, I noticed some surface rust between the seam sealer and the rail.

That is a closeup of the damage. About 2 1/4 inches of pure misery. I kept digging at the sealer and kept finding more rust. I wanted to get it stopped, so out came the windshield and I kept digging. You see the end damage, all the metal I could break out with a small screwdriver, I did. I have treated it about a dozen times with rust killer now and have the hole fixed. I sanded the whole top of the cab and hopefully I can get it Rhino lined this week. Just another spot that we need to watch out for. This would have been very easy to overlook. Glen
