2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Rotate your shaft for me

I am trying to figure out if my steering box is worn out which is giving me my steering wander. If you open your hood and twist you steering shaft back and forth, how much movement do you get? Mine is a couple of inches.

The "play" might be in the intermediate shaft. Have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth while you hold the int. shaft at the collapse-able joint.

I can see it moving right at the steering box.
