FWIW:
A family member of mine is a manager at Auto Zone. Without going into much detail, Autozone sells oil at cost... The idea is to get you in the store to buy other things that have high profit margins. .

So... if you see oil prices at Walmart cheaper than Autozone... they are selling oil below cost... for the same reason most likely.

Bet they hate when someone only buys a case of oil #ad

There is a local farm and fleet store chain that sells 6 gallon cases for $31. 50 a case. They also have 5 gallon buckets and 35 gallon drums that are a little cheaper,but it is a hassle to use.
