How much HP is 4" exhaust good for???

Amount of smoke from rv275's?

I have been using Rotella Synthetic for about 2 yrs. now and all of sudden I can't find it anymore at any of the Wally Worlds here in northeast Ga.

Anyone know where I can find this oil? In not, what would be a good replacement?

To find the Rotella, try the yellow pages. Look under lubricants or oils and you should be able to find a shell distribuitor.

up here in north east the wallworlds have it still. Mabey there droping it from the stores. I may buy 4 or 5 gal to tuck away its only 12 bucks per gal.

My local Wallyworld Dupercenter claimed last fall that they were dropping it. But just last week they had cases of it on the shelf. I think I did get the last quart bottles though.

Check your local truck stop. They should have it but probably cost more. They still have it at wally world here in minnesota.

Wally World seems to waffle a lot on whether or not they're going to stock it. I try to stay at least 5 or 6 gallons ahead of them. Running in the kids cars now too.

Our Wal-Mart hasn't stocked synthetic Rotella in years. I would imagine this is due to the price tag. I was actually reading last night on Rotella's website about the benefits of synthetic engine oil. They openly admitted that the only reason anyone should use synthetic is if they are going to be operating in extremely cold temperatures. I believe they even used the term "sub-zero. "

I was considering trying it just for the hell of it until I saw the $13 price tag. I can't imagine that the minimal mileage gain expected from the syn could ever match the outrageous price.

But I know some people swear by the stuff. Whatever blows your hair back...

I found some oil at one of the local truck stops. Little pricey but better than nothing.

I run 10k before oil change with filter change every 5k. Seems to work out well with the oil analysis I have been getting.

Should I try to run longer, Maybe 15k ?

I now have 150k on my truck, completely stock and doing well.

Thanks for the help everyone.

I bought a case back in October (in Mass. ) for the VW... and haven't seen it at the local Wally World since then.

The full synthetic Rotella went through some rough water not too long ago. They had a bad batch or two that smelled funny and allegedly wasn't up to snuff and caused problems in some people's engines...

Some Walmarts still stock it. EachWalmart controls what they stock. They are not all the same. I buy it at advanced Auto Parts because it is cheaper than Walmart.
