Just to revisit what has been discussed some in the past. I have a 96 3500 and need to replace a front drivers side rotor because it is severly scored on one side due to metal to metal from pad rivots. Will the hub rotor asembly just come off when I attempt to remove the cotter key and 1-3/4" or so nut and can I just put a crowbar wedged between the studs and the garage floor to keep the rotor from turning while trying to break loose the nut. The Dodge shop manual by the way is not very well written in reference to this.
