Rotory Pump How Much $$$$

Looking to buy a used pump for my 90 12v for a spare to send to pump shop to get rebuilt and was woundering what a pump like what I need is going for

If you look in the classifieds there was a first gen injection pump for sale there yesterday. Can't remember the asking price. It is called a VE by the pump guys.

The guys on the 1st gen boards should know more about this stuff, their trucks use the rotary pump (pre 94)

I'd call some diesel shops or vendors ask how much the core price is on one, go from there. A 'new' pump runs about $1300 or so? I'm interested in this thread on finding out what they go for, as I have a spare in the garage that I just removed from my 89, for a built/modified VE pump.

to have my pump rebuilt, $750 was the price I was quoted @ diesel inj. serv. here in St. Louis.

I got a core on E-Bay for $259 that is a match to mine by part number. I'll send it off for rebuild soon, then install it. Don't trust my current pump to keep going next summer - I'll be in some isolated places.
