Rottella T Synthetic price reduction

I was at Walmart today & noticed that they dropped the price back down to 12 something a gallon again in the last few days. KL

Sorry I won't be suckered again by wal-mart. I will continue to use my true synthetic not a knock off like Rotella 5-40 that really isn't a true synthetic. Wal-Mart got me to switch once, but since they keep jacking the price around I found a good supply of Mobil Delvac 5-40 for the same price as wal-mart had, and Delvac 5-40 is a true synthetic, not a make beleave like Rotella 5-40.

They keep jerking around with the prices here too.

Where is's 12. 88, they aint got none.

I can buy it for 18. 88 though, because they actually have it there.

I'll stick to the regular ol Rosmella.

The management at Walmart are genius's (reason they are the largest company in the world). They know how to manipulate the price to get most people to believe they are getting a bargain. Most people don't pay attention like you guys seem to be doing. Most just figure if they bought it at Walmart they saved money .

My truck is not broke in yet and living in Missouri it doesn't get cold enough to need a synthetic IMHO, so I don't run synthetic. My local Walmart really likes to play the price game. Rottella Synthetic used to be 18. 88, then they dropped it to 12 something for a few months, and then jacked it up to 18. 88 again. Now its 12 something again.



A lot of stores also have items called price leaders they sell. Sometimes they sell something under cost to get you in the store. But they figure you will buy some other stuff which is not marked down, so they still make a profit. KL
