Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) rough idle/miss

recently i have seen several people post about a rough idle that goes away or gets worse at times. i have been dealing with this for over a month and finally got to the bottom of it, it turned out to be injectors that i just bought(new). cyl 6 stuck open, cyl 3 dribbling fuel, cyl 2 low pop pressure and then dribbling at times. cyl 2 and 3 inj tested fine sometimes and then others they would dribble or stick. hope this helps somebody avoid all i went through trying to figure this out.

T, thanks for the post. I've noticed a sometimes miss from 700 to 1500 rpm. I'm suspecting injectors as well, they have 200k on em.



But I'm currently driving about a 1000 miles a week and haven't had a chance to check anything out.



No driveability issues, just a slight miss that likely I'm the only one that could notice.

thats how mine started out as and got real bad quick

got my injectors back today, all 6 cleaned, 2 new tips, 6 new adapters,new horseshoe seals for return lines and new o rings for the hold down nuts. all for free, nice to see that some places still take care of their customer.

all my bosch parts will be from midwest fuel injection from now on.
