My truck since I bought it, about a month ago, has always had a small rev after the motorwinds down to idle... . after depressing the clutch. It is especially bad when the motor is cold. Could this somehow be related to the 4GSK or plate? Any other ideas? Thanks

Is it just a little "bump" up in rpm just before idle? Mine does that. I was told it was gov spring bounce. I've got the 4k springs too.

Jeez I hope not. I just took it as early spring fatigue. Mine are about 5 yrs old. It didn't do that when they were new.

4GSK in a 215 motor

My 96 5sp does the same thing. Almost kills the motor when temps go below zero.

I would image if one had the injection pump balanced this abnormtily could be "tuned" out. I don't think one can tune the GSK's to get this out (given the coarse adjusment of the keepers). Other then the bouce, mine runs very smooth.
