The old mans 01 dually 6 speed is having some starting troubles. It cranks 3-10 seconds and when it starts it will blow white and run very rough. As well recently it will crank, hesitate and stop, and then continue cranking.
Im thinking injectors for the first two issues, but do not know about the third.
Thanks fellas

First, I would make sure that batteries, connections, and the starting circuit (including starter) were in good operating condition. If the engine is cranking slow, fuel pressure would be slow to build to pop pressure and engine compression would not be optimal. Late fuel delivery and low compression equal poor starting characteristics. Just the fact that you mention, "recently it will crank, hesitate and stop, and then continue cranking" indicates a serious
electrical problem (or problems). Even after the engine starts, if the charging system is not working properly, then low voltage can affect ECM and PCM operation.

After the starting issue is cleared up, then I would investigate the smoke and rough running - if it's still there.

I figured out the stall in the starting. Was a bad conection. As for the rough running and smoke, a can of sea foam cleared it up for now
