anyone ever order royal purple gear oil from JR Racing? I just got mine from them in the mail and the outside of the bottles are oily. I just wanted to make sure they were on the "up and up" and i did not get some other oil, in royal purple bottles. I know, I'm paranoid!!! thanks

i have been considering them for my next purchase, but have not bought yet; all RP oil is dyed purple, so at least you do a visual check and start there...

Had it in now for about 7000 miles,no problems seems to work good. Use it in our race cars frees up a couple horses.

Royal Purple

I purchased my Royal Purple from Baxter Auto Parts in Portland and some of the bottles seemed oily. They were are sealed up okay so I didn't worry about it.



Also - I have picked up cased of Delo, Havoline and Castrol oil and had some oily bottles.

I have had very good experience with rp gear oil and have friends who use the oil in their diesels and buy it in 55gal drums from the place near houston where it is cheap. A little oil on the outside of the bottles won't hurt.
