thanks for the info, I am thinking of going purple all the way, just doing research right now, trying to compare, prices, etc.

I'm running RP front to back except the transfer case. I love the stuff, even running it in my 6 speed and works great.

Wyatt, you'll love the performance of Royal Purple products.

As suggested, RPMOIL. COM, I just ordered $200 worth of drive line lubes for all 3 trucks.

If you need help figuring out what you need to use let me know.

When can I come up and help "test" your twins? :-laf

I am headed to the site right now, how long will $200 worth of RP last? Garry cant find the keys Texas :D

#$^$%&$#& Garry cant find the keys? Yea right! Bet he is breaking in your O'ringed head, twins and comp.

I ordered 5 gallons of MaxGear 75W-90 for two NV-4500's and two rear axles. The MaxGear has been in Jo's 5speed for 50k miles, still looks good and clean and shifts 100% perfectly but I think it's time for a change. I run the RP in the transmission's 30-50k miles, rear axles get changed every Spring. I know that 75W-90 seems a little light but it yields better MPG than 150W oil and I have never seen over 220*F while towing the 5th wheel even with the RP 75W-90. I have heavier Mystic 90W-140 now because I needed to change it before a trip and didnt have time to order the RP stuff. Next change it goes back to RP :)

Have you considered a FastCooler (one- driver side only) and a PTO filter for the passenger side PTO cover? They add extra oil, cooling and filtering.

I have a power gen mechanic on site that loves RP he cant say enough good things about it, and he is not a dealer or anything.

I have thought about the fast cooler, especially when I saw one sitting in Garry's shop with the box open, but seeing as he might be installing it for me, I didnt think that was a good idea :-laf Idont think the " I was just gonna borrow it for awhile would work" :D

Looks like Puplre could go all the way!!
