I hope to make it again this year. I have to break in the new motor before any dynos can happen. I have a total of 9 miles on it so i have a ways to go with many retorques to do. Hope to see you there.

Maybe you need to get your dad to leave the steelhead alone and give you a hand wrenching so you have more driving time. :)

Just as a heads up we will be bringing a fully installed DieselPuter for everyone to take a look at and ask any questions you might have... ... ...

The DieselPuter is a purpose built, full feature mobile computing system for your truck. It is not a hacked together home PC made to fit, the DieselPuter is designed and built for heavy-duty truck application.

Some of the uses are: Media playback, (MP3, DVD), full GPS with mapping software, on board diagnostics via the OBD II, internet access while on the road, e-mail, and many many more... ... .

Take a look at the new Research & Development page, we posted a pretty lengthy overview with more specific details. We are transferring our web site over to I Power Web and they are really dropping the ball getting it done. Sorry about that, but they keep promising it should be done any minute.

BTW. . I'm writing this while sitting the passenger seat of a CTD, doing 70 down hwy 99. Just north of Turlock CA.

:-laf :-laf I guess I am not the only one who calls him that. :-laf Bringing the PANTY DROPPER aka BEER BONG again. Ponci really can put them down in a hurry. I think I still have some pics from last year. ;) It always makes for a memorable trip.

Mine is pretty detuned right now, but I hope to get some new parts before the dyno day. I just don't know if I will get time to get them installed. :{ Oh well it will still be a fun trip.

Scott:

I was just at a DynoTunning facility in So. Cal. and it was a joke, can these guys do diesels properly? I hope all goes well, I will see if I can make it, just for the bench racing.

Bruce, yes they have been doing this annual event for approx 4 years I believe. The computer did fail last year 3/4 of the way through the event, first time it ever happened, and Brad is going to have a second one on site in case it goes again, doubtfull. We have had great turnouts in the previous years getting over 40 trucks dynoed is no promblem as everything is prestaged in advance. Food, Event T-Shirts, raffle prizes etc...
