The tow haul of off is a factory option that can be turned on or off with a drb
I don't own a super chips but have worken on trucks that were using them

Yes. I disconnected and reconnected all the connectors I could. Contact cleaner, dry, dialectic film applied, new batteries, cleaned all negative to body contact points, drained ATF, fiddled with wires and connectors on VB.

I don't know what the exact problem was but some connection point somewhere must not have been making good contact. I also noted that the trans rebuilder stripped out one of my pan bolt holes on the trans. Needless to say, I'm NOT happy with the people that rebuilt my DTT trans.

I have a similar issue after returning from a camping trip. Trailer towed normal. Unhooked and the next day while driving I noticed that between 1st and 2nd the same higher rpm issue, seeming to shift at a higher rpm then normal, made me initially think the transmission was slipping. No codes thrown. Oil at normal level but a little darker red then the original AMSOIL I put in. Since I have a 2003 I don't have a TTVA I think so what would explain my symptoms. I don't have any jump down from OD however. It seems to be isolated to between 1st-2nd I believe. Thanks

If you need to rebuild, look into any other builder besides DTT. After build support is nothing but a P. I. T. A. and contradictions. Had I known I would be dealing with the people that gave a good sell, and the install shop now out of business and in Canada, I NEVER would have gone with DTT.

Good luck.
