RPM's when towing

I have a 5sp and a 10000# 5'er and use 5th pretty much from 1500rpm up unless I need to get it moving real quick- then I will hold it in 4th up to 1800-2000. I didn't have the power to upshift that quick until the 370 injectors though.

Depending on traffic, I-95 (FL) <65 sometimes in 5th gear, I-10 70mph @ 2000. Any slower than that, it loads up to fast on hills.

Really need an EZ or a 4:10. Gonna try the EZ first. If your towing all the time you should have the 4:10. 65mph with a 4:10 is perfect. Had a 4:10 in one of my other trucks.
