RR Tail Light Assembly

[LI Camper]

Where's the best (cheapest ) place to get a tail light assembly?? I noticed a crack in mine and now it's driving me nuts. Should I just go to a dealer?? Local junk yard doesn't have one. Does Mopar for less sel this stuff?? Thanks for the help.

Get a price from Mopar-4-less. E-Bay has Clear tailights for $70. 00 a pair.

 

[Cooker]

Friend just replaced one with a unit from Auto Zone (non-factory of course). It looks identical and the price was only about $35. I've seen them at NAPA too but I don't know the price.

The only "potential" problem I could see with a nonMopar part is that the black trim MAY fade at a different rate. I'm not sure though.

Try a slavage yard. I would imagine that a taillight is something they'd have easily enough, and then you get a factory part too.

Griff, the lens color is a large red on top, clear in center, and small red on bottom. I have a reply from Mopar4less and Autozone, both stock the item. Thanks for your reply, the people in this forum are the best.

Yes the outsie of the assembly is matte black. I some how cracked the bottom black trim by the bumper and there is not much left holding it on. I tried to super glue it but it didn't work. I suppose I should have tried to epoxy it from the back, hind sight is always 20 20. I think it got hit by a runaway carriage at the Home Depot. I'm going to try to put in my TST plate today, change my fuel lines, and fuel filter. Tomorrow I'll shoot for the transmission filter, band adjustment, temp guage, and new Amsoil ATF. Thanks
