Would that work on a heavy duty 6 speed. Looks cool in the picture. I wonder if the pattern is the same. I doubt my dealer would even carry those trucks for me to check.

the viper 6 speed is a t-56 i think [like the corvette i think] and the 6 gears are the same but the location of reverse is different. on our nv-5600, the shift pattern reads 135R top row, 246 bottom row. i think the viper reads 135/246R like many 6 speed sports car tranmissions [s2000, porsche]

i hope i am wrong, but i am going by memory from the last time i looked in a viper cockpit

I just got back from my dealer, He had Viper info laying out and sure enough reverse on the t56 is up next to 5th just like the 5600. I saw it with my own eyes. The pattern is the same. Now for the treads and cost. The threads I can change if necessary.

hmm, i am wrong. good... :D:D:D

I looked it up @ the online parts and according to the picture the know has a bit of the shaft attached to it. Looks like it sells for 100 bucks. The nv5600 truck shifter knob seems to be attached with a nut. I think this still needs a little more investigation. The picture shows the pattern being removed and a nut holding the knob to the shaft. The viper knob looks like it would need the shaft cut off, hole drilled and threaded. I cant find anything on th fancy fast truck.
